On The Job Training

When you take on an individual as an apprentice you enter into a Training Agreement with them. One of the responsibilities of this Agreement is to provide on-the-job training and facilitate attending block courses.

In the case of a Modern Apprentice (16-22 years), you will be assisted by an Apprenticeship/Training Co-ordinator through regular quarterly meetings. These meetings between you and the apprentice will ensure suitable progress in training is achieved. It is important to realise the Apprrenticeship/Training Co-ordinator is there to assist you and the apprentice to get the most out of the working/training relationship.
